Sungold™ Lomandra is a very drought and cold tolerant plant with golden variegated foliage.
    Suitable for large no irrigation projects, or for low maintenance or high profile gardens.

    Sungold™ Lomandra turns slightly green in summer to easily cope with heat, but always remains golden.

    How it works

    NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, WA, TAS & QLD (avoid wet feet, not suited to northern QLD).

    Full sun to part shade. Tolerates frost and drought. Suits sandy to heavy soils. Can work well in more humid climates like Brisbane provided it does not get wet feet.

    Care Instructions

    Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Ensure crown or base of plant is not below soil level.

    Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). If required use slow release fertiliser in spring.

    Cut back to 20cm or half the height if required after 7 years (will look better with more regular pruning, this depends on your requirements).
